I had the pleasure of discovering Sue Tait Porcaro, who illustrated The Schlimpoon and Jealousy. Her brilliant illustrations were just the tip of the iceberg. Sue was a professional extraordinaire. When we first began working together, she made me feel 100% confident in her expertise and abilities. I was right to feel that way, because every request was understood and honored; every question was answered  easily; every interaction was handled with a smile and a swift response. In addition to the ease of working with Sue, her artwork was so extraordinary, so beautifully detailed, and a perfect fit for the story line.
There is no question in my mind that I will turn to Sue to illustrate the rest of my series!
Judy Siegel is the author of the rhyming SCHLIMPOON BOOK series, featuring a fairy, who helps kids solve problems. Her website, www.schlimpoon.com, offers activities for kids to do after reading each book.

Sue is an amazing illustrator. She has the unique ability to create not only an eye catching brochure but one that truly explains my business in pictures. I developed a new product that is hard to explain without showing it. In the past I would use my hands to explain how my product works. Now with the new brochure everyone can tell right away what my product is and how it works. Sue recently did some technical drawings for me because I needed to do a spec sheet for the manufacturer. I sent her the written instructions and what I had drawn. She was able to make a drawing of the cut out version and the sewn version of the Ruby Slipper with all the measurements. She then took the out of order pictures and not only put them in order but made the drawings perfectly understandable. Her work allows the manufacturer to know what each step of the sewing process should look like and what I’m expecting in the final stage. Thank you Sue for your great work!

I recently hired Susan to work on an illustration project for a very specific genre of candles. The assignment was contingent upon work being completed quickly, and it had to be perfect. It was. I was not only impressed by her innate talent, but by her grasp of the project and the subtle nuances the project required. Sue is a delight to work with and an extremely talented artist. She would be the first person I would call for any project requiring illustration.

I can’t recommend Sue Tait Porcaro highly enough. She was one of the most creative, flexible, talented and good-natured people I have ever worked with. She always delivered on time and produced exactly what was requested. And she is very reasonable for the high quality of her work. You’d be lucky to have her on your team.
